The Description:

After a short brief from the crew you will depart and glide up the beautiful Huon River towards the Historic township of Franklin, gliding up river alongside Egg island conservation area, where you will commonly see the spectacular birdlife swimming and fishing the river or soaring the sky looking for prey.

Once you arrive at fringes of Franklin, the boat will slow down for you to take in the gorgeous buildings, boats and man made features of the once thriving village and hub of the southern region.

The trip back is your opportunity to really sit back and enjoy the serenity, have another drink and let your mind wander in awe of this special place in the world.

This cruise is set to inspire you to imagine a life on the water and get a glimpse of the rich history of the area, the people and the fantastic wooden boats that inhabit the waterways of the Huon Valley.

Bookings are essential on our cruises as there are limited available spaces and as we are at a private dock, we can’t generally accept walk in passengers.

Children's prices for under 16 or Infants for under 2. 

The Carpark is a short walk from the boat, however if you think it may be a challenge for you, please contact us and we will arrange a closer park for you. PLEASE DO NOT WALK THROUGH THE VINES DUE TO CURRENT BIOSECURITY THREATS TO VINEYARDS. STICK TO THE DRIVEWAY ONLY.
